The meals were overpriced and certainly didn't meet the expectation. Scotch fillet was fatty and chewy. Chicken schnitzel tasted like it has a layer of unpleasant fat between the crumb and chicken. Spent some time in the gaming room and the staff was lacking and it felt like you were inconveniencing them when you had a request like the machine broke three times in one sitting
I have stayed here on many occasions over the years, I like the establishment & in a convenient location. The rooms were extremely clean & comfortable, the room rates extremely competitive. The dining area was excellent, the food very good & great value. The young staff were attentive & nothing was too much trouble. Without question I would come back here & do not hesitate in recommending this hotel. Cheers.
A really great place to stay over when exploring the Barossa. Great staff who were very helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was firm. I had a great night of rest.
4.5 of us went there on a Sunday afternoon, 1 hour prior to closing for lunch. They didn't disappoint though. They got a high chair for bubs, made sure we were near the bathrooms, the salad bar was delicious and topped up, even though it was 1 hour prior to close of service for lunch and everyone was reasonably friendly. The meals were great - especially the pork schnitzel and arancini balls. I would definitely come back again!
I'm in the Vine rooms not in the hotel. Wasn't expecting too much as only $105 per night.The room is plesently surprising, very clean, modern facilities. Definitely recommend these rooms. This will be my first choice when staying in the Barossa next time.
