Walked in for an impromptu lunch and were absolutely charmed with the whole experience. We tried the "Trust us" menu of select items such as beef tartare, cured salmon, slow roasted lamb, home made rye pasta and more. Couldn't fault the meal. Fresh, creative, refined and delicious! Lovely setting, staff welcoming and friendly. One of our highlights on our trip to SA, I highly recommend this place.
Whahahaha its a waste of Money! I don't recommend this RESTAURANT! The most terrible food ever tasted for a 100 plus bill. Beef tartare (uncooked) and cold its a piece of BS, salmon stripes with some cream (uncooked) they should put it in the menu thatt it is Raw! The pasta is Zero to 1. I hate all the food they served!If there is a zero star, i will put none for this EATERY. Cons: the place is cozy and the staff are accommodating!Overall I wont coming back! I feel i been scammed!
Very disappointed with the food. Ordered the beetroot salad (overwhelming horseradish), heirloom tomato entree (very bland and oily) and pasta main (ok but about 50% onion). The venue is lovely, with little turtles and ducks in the lake. Would recommend only coming by the farm shop and avoiding the eatery.
Enjoyed the dining experience. Food was lovely. Read some reviews of the staff experience, and while I can't say that the staff were super friendly or personable, they were polite, efficient and accommodating. The lady who served us at the Farm shop was very friendly and chatty though. Venue was well designed and clean.
Absolutely stunning food and thoroughly pampered by Elli and her wonderful team. What a fantastic way to while away the afternoon. Love it!
