Legendary shop from a national treasure. For a foodie this place is gold, prices are very reasonable and the range unique. We had a meal while we were there and very much enjoyed watching the turtles and the wildlife while we ate.
I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the prices. Definitely worth the visit , the food was flavoursome, just wonderful. We bought lots from the shop too. You have to suspend common sense here and just indulge.
Beautiful spot (loved the turtles!) staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat in on a cooking demo and it was interesting and very well presented. Also loved the tastings of Maggie's products. Overall a great experience - well done!!
A wonderful visit to Maggie Beer's farm shop and restaurant. We were served by a lovely lady who gave us lots of trivia about the farm, while she served us tastings of wine. I finally found a wine I like as a non-drinker- a lovely non-alcoholic sparkling Chardonnay! There were lots of produce to envy over, and nearly (if not all) of them were available for tasting. My favourites were the marmalade and the pear and miso vinaigrette.
An excellent experience. Loved the fact that we could try everything they had to decide what to buy... If only other gourmet brands would follow this concept, a lot of their "well kept secrets" or "hidden gems" would actually be a best seller in town... it is a bit pricey but they were never in the cheapest product race anyways so i guess its alright..
